In October 2007, Kyle won the Get Framed Contest, an annual art competition sponsored by the Wilmington, NC Star News. Below is a scrapbook of newspaper articles published during the course of the contest. The first prize was an exclusive, month-long art gallery show , which was held at the WHQR Gallery in downtown Wilmington in March and April of 2008.
